"My wife and I first met Chris Jokisch in September 2005. We had sold our beloved home in Raleigh and were downsizing. My wife, Ann, found an absolute wreck of a home in a perfect location. It was a 1920's home that was in the process of being gutted and renovated. As the ever-confident designer, Ann saw the immediate potential of this home that her friend described as a crack house! Prior to purchasing this home, we were referred to Chris.

Chris went over to the house with us as we all started thinking about how we would approach this project. After a few meetings, Chris was able to sketch out a plan, complete with budget and timeline. Although Chris did try to talk us out of the project, we were determined to proceed.

Amazingly, Chris was able to keep his first outlined timeline, and delivered the project below budget! This home reconstruction was certainly full of unexpected surprises. Throughout, we found Chris to behave in a professional and calm manner. He excels at communicating and problem solving. When we encountered the truly unexpected problem, we always felt as if the situation was managed in a straightforward and logical manner. At no time did we feel as if we were charged excessively or not informed about any issues. Subcontractors we had used for prior homes complemented Chris on his attention to detail concerning coordinating with their work and the scope of the overall job.

I would highly recommend Chris Jokisch for consideration on any building project. We have remained on good terms with him since we met. As for our home in town, it appeared in the pages of Country Living magazine in 2007. And, more importantly, has been a wonderful home for our family."
